THURSDAY, March 17 at around 12:20 pm, I received a phone call from our agency telling me that they had a referral for us. I don't think I was breathing at that point, at least, everything around me was fuzzy. This was it. This was what we have been waiting for...the call. Then she told me about a 4 month old, baby girl who would soon be our daughter, and I fell to pieces. Over the next several days I will explain the story a little more, and show you how marvelous and gracious our God is!
However, I cannot proceed with words of my own until I express my deep gratitude to my Savior. He heard my cry. He not only answered my prayer, but answered my heart's desire. I am not worthy of this gift...this little girl. Yet, He is entrusting me to be her mom. All I can do is thank Him and praise Him for this precious gift. A friend of ours emailed Psalm 50 to us after he heard about our girl. (Thanks Cory!) I could not express praise any better!
Praise the LORD!Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens!
Praise him for his mighty deeds;
praise him according to his excellent greatness!
Praise him with trumpet sound;
praise him with lute and harp!
Praise him with tambourine and dance;
praise him with strings and pipe!

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
