Sometimes Wishes Come True....Gotcha Day #3

Well, as you can see, we went to the beach for Gotcha Day weekend afterall.  And, what a wonderful weekend we had!!  We celebrated THREE YEARS together as a family!!!!    We have an exchange student from Spain with us, and we had a great time with her.  She really enjoyed the beach and the boardwalk. 

Our boys LOVE the beach and the ocean.  You should have seen them swimming in the ocean.  They had no fear...which caused some concern for me, but Greg stayed with them every time they were in the water. 

Some people love the mountains, some love lakes, but I can't explain the joy we have as a family when we all enjoy God's beautiful ocean and beach together.  AHHHHH........

As far as where we stayed...well, let's just say that I didn't see any roaches or bedbugs, and for a weekend it was fine, though somewhat cramped for 5 of us.  But I would stay there again, for a weekend, just to be able to enjoy the beach.  For a week?....ummmm....not sure....  I did feel badly for Laura, since it was a small efficiency, and she had to sleep in a bed next to the boys, in the same room as us "old folks".  :)   

But she didn't seem to mind, or at least she didn't express it in any way. 

I do not take for granted these times together as a family.  I treasure them and keep them close to my heart.  I take in every smile and laugh that my boys give, and thank God for these precious gifts from Him!
