This week an American couple is at the transition home where you are staying. They
are going to take pictures of you for us. We have a picture of you on our refrigerator. I stare at it often. Your face is etched in my heart and mind. I can't wait to get new pictures of you. I told the couple who will be taking the pictures to tell you that we love you very much. You have no idea how much I want to hold you and tell you myself....you are loved!
I'm sorry that we are missing your 6 month birthday. I wish that you were with us so that you could feel our love. I have been praying that you will celebrate your one year birthday at home. My heart is so heavy to get you home. I miss you. Yes, Havyn, we have not met face to face, but I miss you something terrible. I can't wait to kiss your sweet cheeks, and hold you close.
Today I had to get vaccinations in order to travel to Ethiopia. Your big brothers asked if you will have to get shots when you get home. They said that they will help you to be brave, and hold your hands. They are already looking out for their little sister.
You are our girl and we love you always!
